The world’s most expensive car: See it for yourself

What has a quad-turbo 8.0-liter W16 engine, produces 1,479 horsepower and has 1,180 pound-feet of torque? It’s the world’s most expensive car. And it’s more than just a powerhouse, it’s a work of art.

It has six exhaust tips, beautiful wheels, a bespoke dashboard design, a light-up badge that spells out the name of the brand — and it has a huge price tag.

What’s it cost?

With a price tag of $18.7 million dollars, the one-of-a-kind Bugatti La Voiture Noire is officially the most expensive new car ever.

This is a car for elite automotive enthusiasts — and those with a sizeable amount of disposable income.

But it’s not necessarily the most expensive car ever sold. Curious what we mean? The most expensive car ever sold was the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO. It sold at a RM Sotheby’s auction for $48.4 million dollars in 2018. This vehicle is definitely a collector’s item.

The most valuable car brand

That brings us to the world’s most valuable brand. It may not compete for the title of world’s most expensive vehicles, but with a valuation of $208 billion based on their record-setting stock prices, electric car Tesla is by far the front-runner and likely to become one of the dominant car brands (if not the top brand) of the future.
