Hours of work are important to ensure that employees are paid properly, entitlements are calculated accurately, and work is done consistently. This policy addresses the company’s expectations around when employees perform work.

What Is Considered Work
Work is generally considered to be performed when an employee is performing labour for The West Egg Group Inc. and must stay at the workplace.
Work Schedule
Employees and Management are provided their work schedule through their supervisor. Breaks and lunch breaks are in accordance with the Employment Standards Act.
Overtime
Employees and Management adhere to the Employment Standards Act and the signed employment agreement which includes the Overtime/Averaging Hours Agreement for their Ontario or BC.
Overtime for employees will be determined by current business needs. Management will use their discretion and judgment for circumstances where overtime is required.
